At one point, I opened BL2 and exec'd patch there and it somehow exec'd TPS patch, though this only happened once. If I try to launch the game with BLCMM, I either insta crash or crash once I try to load into the game. If I do the same thing but exec patch on the main menu instead of the screen beforehand, nothing happens and I don't crash when I load into the game. If I first reapply the patch via the Hex Multitool then open the game and try to exec patch in the start screen, there's a big mess of text in the console regarding a bunch of unrecognized class or object (I don't remember the exact message but it was something along those lines) and my game crashes once I try to load in on a character. If I open the game right after verifying game files and try to exec patch, nothing happens.
I've verified my game files multiple times. I've tried both online and offline mode and neither worked.
BORDERLANDS 2 LATEST PATCH BROKE BLCMM UPDATE
My Patch.txt file is in my Binaries folder as it should be, my filepaths are set up in the Hex Multitool correctly and I've reset them multiple times just in case. I've downloaded the latest patch (5.0.3), the latest Hex Multitool, making sure the patch is offline, update borderlands 2 and that I am playing offline. I've reinstalled the latest releases of both and reinstalled the Patch.txt file itself multiple times to no avail.
BORDERLANDS 2 LATEST PATCH BROKE BLCMM MOD
The mod team’s intent is to let players discover changes for themselves, keeping new weapons and reworked boss fights a surprise, though you can see some of them linked in the Nexus Mods page. I've tried to use both the Hex Multitool 1.3.8 and BLCMM and neither have worked. Released last week, it’s a work-in-progress overhaul mod for Borderlands 2, changing characters, gear, enemies and more. I've been trying fruitlessly to get the community patch working and no matter what I've tried so far, it just won't work. NOTE: If you have used any standalone tools that are outdated, such as 'Backpack-Customizer' or old Multitools (if your tool has the 'Backpack Testpatch' you should be fine), you may want to consider either reverting these patches with these tools, or redownload the games exe via steam (only BL2. I'll preface all of this with the fact that I pretty painlessly got the community patches for both BL2 and BLTPS working on a different device via BL Hex Multitool with the same method I used on this device. This new version of the Multitool does not have to be in a specific place.
